Lamjung-Himal Trekking (14-16 days)

The Lamjung Himal Trek leads through the Annapurna region at a low altitude, far from the tourist flow, up into the mountains. You cross a variety of traditional Gurung villages and temples, up to the largest Gurung village in Nepal. The trekking route leads through beautiful Himalayan landscapes with lush, green valleys and terraced rice fields, as well as rhododendron and bamboo forests. During the trek you will be accompanied by a breathtaking view of the majestic mountains of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu mountain ranges. Another special highlight is the close contact with the local population.

The Lamjung Himal Trekking is only possible by sleeping in tents. The best time for the trekking is in either spring or fall.

The trek starts in Besishar, which is about 5-6 hours from Kathmandu by car. The trekking route leads from Besishar via Baglung Pani, Ghanapokhara, to Telebrong Danda Base Camp. Here you can enjoy an acclimatization day and explore the impressive and beautiful alpine plateau. We continue via Rambrong Danda, Choprong, Yangjakot, Modikhola to Pokhara. From there (after an overnight stay in a hotel) the bus takes you back to Kathmandu.
